Augustana’s two CFA Institute Research Challenge teams presented their research at Morningstar, Inc., hosted by the CFA Society Chicago. Out of 16 teams, seven advanced as finalists, including Augustana’s two teams. “The competition was fierce,” said Dr. Lina Zhou, the teams' faculty advisor.
Viking basketball's Daniel Carr '23 has been named an Academic All-American, one of the highest honors for collegiate student-athletes. Augustana ranks No. 1 in the CCIW and seventh in NCAA DIII in number of Academic All-Americans.
Nadia Schwartz, associate professor of accounting, has been named an Illinois CPA Society Outstanding Educator. She is Augustana's third current faculty member to have received the honor.
